After spending a total of 20 years in traditional publishing, author Prescott took the indie route in the year 2011 and began selling his novels in the form of eBooks. The latest book published by author Prescott is titled ‘Bad to the Bone’, which is a sequel of his 2014 novel titled ‘Blood in the Water’. In his entire career as a writer, he has published more than 25 thriller novel. One of the reasons that author Prescott believes motivated him to take up the career as a writer was the fact that being an author is a comparatively less stressful job. However, after working for several years he decided to shift towards writing crime fiction novels as a full time writer. The initial stint of Prescott was working as a screenwriter for the independent producers of films. Author Prescott also writes under the pseudonyms Douglas Borton and Owen Fusterbuster. In addition to the suspense and crime fiction genres, he has also contributed several short stories based on the thriller genre to a number of anthologies. Many of the crime fiction and suspense novels that author Prescott has written are set in Arizona or in Los Angeles. After that, he decided to write his next novel under the pen name of Brian Harper and eventually began writing suspense and crime novels from the year 1992 onwards.
It took him more than 5 years to write this novel, based on the horror genre. Simultaneously, author Prescott was working on his debut novel, which he was able to finish and sell in the year 1986. He even served as an editor, archival researcher, as well as written a few scripts for the producers of several independent films.
